Numerous Community and Business Leaders Support Todd Spitzer for DA
25 Leaders From Across Orange County Announce Their Support
October 5, 2017

Orange County – October 5 – A group of major business and community leaders endorsed Todd Spitzer for District Attorney. The list includes many of Orange County’s most successful businessmen and businesswomen, philanthropists and community leaders who see Spitzer as the candidate who can lead a reform agenda and guide the District Attorney’s office out of its current state marred by Tony Rackauckas’ corruption.

“As county Supervisor, Todd Spitzer cut taxes on small businesses, authored and gained passage of pension reform measures, and strengthened government oversight and transparency. Spitzer is the strong leader we need to ensure our economy is growing,” said Robert V. “Bobby” McDonald, President and Executive Director, Black Chamber of Commerce, Orange County*.

He continued, "Spitzer has made significant strides to solving the chronic homelessness problem. He will continue leading the fight to ensure our homeless veterans get the care they are owed."

“Bobby is an exceptional business leader, and it’s truly an honor to receive his support,” said Spitzer.

“Today our campaign released a list of community and business leaders who recognize the desperate need for a change in leadership at the District Attorney’s office.”

“Under Rackauckas’ watch, our County has become less safe and that has made it even riskier for small businesses to be created and grow. I’ll work to make sure violent criminals stay behind bars and off our streets. I’ll also oppose harmful regulations on small businesses and ensure our streets are safe to help attract good paying jobs to our county,” Spitzer concluded.
